First Sleepover

We have decided we hit the neighborhood jackpot lately. We have been able to get to know our neighbors and our boys are becoming greats friends. Over the break I asked Jaxson if he wanted to do anything special over the break. His one request was to have Colton stay the night. It was arranged and he was so excited that morning. Once the time came that Colton knocked on the door they played until they couldn't play anymore but they had only one goal in mind. Stay up until midnight. Colton had received a watch as a gift and they watched the clock laying in their made up beds next to each other until it hit midnight. Only then would they even think about closing their eyes.

Jaxson and Colton love alot of the same things! Apparently they both love polar bear pajamas as well!

I Ate A Jalapeno... And Didn't Like It

Alice eats just about anything she can get her little fingers on. This particular time it happened to be an accidentely dropped jalapeno center with tons of seeds. In it went before either of us even knew it had fallen on the floor. I fished out the seeds but it was too late, the damage was done. We tried everything to help her stop crying and the pain to go away. Nursing. Ice water. My milk from a sippy cup. Anything and she didn't want any of it. Finally she fell asleep with a ice cube in her cute little mouth. I think time helped the pain and the crying caused exhaustion. And unfortunately it hasn't taught her any lessons about being more careful what she puts in her mouth.

Christmas 2016... in photos

Pie Face

When Dave found out that the game Pie Face was the game to get this holiday season he knew it was the perfect White Elephant gift for my family get together. Our mission was to play the game to bring it home with us. Luckily we had success and home Pie Face came. Dan, Anne, and the girls were headed over for dinner so we knew just the game to play!

It is hilarious. If you haven't played, you should. Or you should at least watch someone play because it is hilarious!

Monkey Business

Asher's idea of playing with Alice is apparently giggling while she crawls around with a monkey on her back.

Mommy's Helper

Wrapping gifts this year is a little more difficult thanks to this cute little helper. She is big into eating anything she can and paper is one of her favorite thing to date. She saw me wrapping gifts as an opportunity to get into everything and eat as much paper as she could. Everything gift took twice as long as usual and looked half as good.
