It was April Fools and we went to the library with friends. Her little girl is potty trained but was having some moments of forgetfulness lately and her mom was reminded her several times while we were there.

As soon as we walked in the door Asher said "Potty!" and acted like he wanted to use the potty himself. I quickly found the little potty and cleaned it up from being in storage so long. He excitedly sat down and we waited. Nothing. He didn't act like he wanted to be done so I gave him a book to help him pass the time awhile longer. Just moments later he stood up and said "Potty!" and he had actually gone! The first time he ever asked or sat on the potty he went. Was this a joke??

Just a few hours later he asked to sit again so I let him. This time he went again and not just #1 (TMI for those of you who are not parents) Was this child going to be the easiest kid ever to potty train???

Well, turns out it was all a joke. A big one year old April Fools joke. He hasn't wanted to sit on the potty since that day let alone GO potty. Real funny Asher.... really funny....
