Do the Zoo

Less than a week ago we met some zoo animals at the central library. Jaxson seemed to enjoy it and then we were invited to go to the zoo with MaryAnn and her three kiddos since they were out of school. (They go year around and have different breaks) We met there around 1030 and off we went into the rain forest part. It was hot and humid and full of plants and birds. We traveled around and checked out all the animals. My favorite moment was Ro hugging his favorite tree at the zoo. They have a yearly pass so they get to go often enough that he gets to visit his tree often. Jaxson has been extra shy lately so he didn't get too excited about much. Luckily he will be free until he is three. We ate some lunch and checked out a few more animals before MaryAnn and crew had to leave. Jaxson I went around the loop one more time before exiting. The giraffe eating brought a smile to his face and the swans honking at him made him laugh out loud. The monkeys were jumping around for a minute and he thought that was pretty cool but for the most part the animals were just relaxing. He had fun though and was in for a very long nap!
