Last year we went to Howells Tree Farm just before Halloween to pick out pumpkins and join in the festivities. It was fun but this year was much better. Just one year has made a world of difference in what he wants to do and play with. Last year he was just too small to do most of the things. He played with each thing they had set up in the play area, which was a ton of things. He also loved to do the corn maze, mostly because he was telling us where to go instead of the other way around like usual. We decided this year to let Jaxson pick out a pumpkin and we will get ours from a local grocery store but want to make this a yearly tradition.
Here is last year's trip. It is incredible how much smaller he looks, especially next to those big pumpkins!

Jaxson and Dave went Go Kart racing. There really wasn't a race but there was a start and finish sign.
We were trying to keep up with speedy Gonzalez through the maze. He would periodically look back to make sure we were still with him.

He picked out his perfectly round, green pumpkin. :)

Last year the pumpkin was as big as him almost, this year he just sat right down on them.
Jaxson and Dave went down the slide right after watching a mom and daughter fly right off the end and land on their face. Dave had some speed coming out but luckily landed on his feet. Jaxson thought it was hilarious and wanted to do it again. I would have gone had I not seen that lady come flying off the end.

When we got back from the patch he used the "Pumpkin Warsh" to shine her up.

Jaxson LOVED this wiggle car thing. It may be on his list to Santa.
|
Teeter-totter time. Jaxson giggle through the whole ride.
